My Pledge for Racial Justice

I will search my own heart and seek forgiveness and reconciliation for racist attitudes and beliefs to which I have given credence to in my life.

I will not speak or act in ways that demean my brother and sister.

I will not tell or listen to racist jokes.

I will speak up and act when I hear or see racism demonstrated in any way.

I will work to create inclusive, welcoming communities where I live, work and worship.

I will dwell in God's love with my brothers and sisters.

I pledge to work to eradicate the sin or racism whereever it exists, in my heart, my home, on my job and in my community.
